George METROS, 74, of Garrettsville, Ohio, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Robinson Memorial Hospital, in Ohio. He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late James and Mary HUDOCK METROS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and John METROS; and an infant sister, Anna METROS. He was a private contractor in the construction business. George is survived by his children, Mary METROS, of Ravenna, Ohio, Marge Gutherie and husband, Terry, of Garrettsville, Ohio, Bonnie METROS, of Kent, Ohio, David Uphold and wife, Kay, of Canton, Ohio, James Uphold, of Warren, Ohio, and Linda Memmer, of Kent, Ohio; several grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters, Pete METROS and wife, Evelyn, Edward METROS and wife, Myrna, Mike METROS and wife, Marie, and Helen Hileman, all of Uniontown, Paul METROS, of Butler, Pa., and Marge Esposito and husband, Rocco, of Coraopolis, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and until 11 a.m., Thursday, when a service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev.
