    3. Richard J. "Tex" McKinney, 81, of 132 E. Fairview Ave., Connellsville, died Tuesday, March 22, 1994, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was born May 11, 1912, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Avey and Emma Farley McKinney. He was a Protestant by faith, and a boilermaker by trade. He served during World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of American Legion, Post 301, Connellsville; the Fraternal Order of Eagles 493, Connellsville; the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 16, Connellsville; and the Slovak and Polish Club, Connellsville. He was an avid pool player, having belonged to pool leagues through various organizations. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly McKinney of Pittsburgh; a son, Ronald J. McKinney of New Kensington; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Powers of Plantation, Fla.; and two special friends, Irene Dillon and Evelyn M. Gibson, both of Connellsville. McKINNEY - Richard J. "Tex" McKinney of 132 E. Fairview Ave., Connellsville, died Tuesday, March 22, 1994. There was no public viewing. Interment was private. Arrangements were under the direction of the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side Connellsville. Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
