Jeanne L. Cross CONAWAY, 78, of Uniontown died Thursday, March 31, 1994, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 18, 1915, in Springfield, Mass., daughter of the late Henry L. and Ethel Robertson Cross. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Conaway, in 1963 and a sister, Betty Ann Murphy. Mrs. Conaway was a member of Central Christian Church and Tri-State Bridge Club and a retired employee from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Right-of-Way Department. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Suhar of Deer Lake; two sons, Dr. Donald Conaway of Virginia Beach, Va., and Fred. W. "Fritz" Conaway of Uniontown; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held today, April 3, 1994, at 2:30 p.m. in Central Christian Church, Uniontown, with Rev. W. Darwin Collins officiating. Arrangements are under direction of the ANDREW D.
