Lucy EGLINSKI, 86, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Detroit, Mich., died Monday at Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mount Pleasant. She was born Dec. 13, 1900 in Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late Lucas and Mary Szwed Balcerek. She was a member of Transfiguration RC Church of Mount Pleasant. She was a graduate of Frick Hospital Nursing School. Surviving are three brothers, Felix, Edward P. and Leo J. Balcerek, and two sisters, Frances Domurot and Helen Balcerek, all of Mount Pleasant. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Eglinski; a brother, John Balcerek, and a sister, Christine Balcerek. Main St., Mount Pleasant, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Transfiguration RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Frank Lesniowski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Transfiguration Church Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. Not related to me. Just sharing a resource.
