Rev. Charles E. FEATHER, aged 70, died at his late home in Bruceton Mills, W.Va., Monday morning, September 7, 1931, following a prolonged illness extending over the past four years. Rev. Feathers was born April 11, 1861, in what was then Old Virginia but now West Virginia, the son of Abraham and Elizabeth Feather, both of whom died a number of years ago at Albrightsville, W. Va. Rev. Feather was one of 18 children, eight boys and five girls and was next to the youngest son. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora King Feather, of Bruceton Mills, and four daughters, Misses Mae and Freda Feather, of Bruceton Mills; and Mrs. Mabel Harris and Mrs. Mabel Spiker, both of Fairmont, W. Va. One sister, Mrs. Noah Metzler, of Uniontown, mother of S. W. Metzler and Mrs.. W. E. Sharps; and two brothers, James L. Feather of Uniontown, and David Doliver Feather, of the state of California. Funeral services will be solemnized at 10:30 Wednesday morning at Bruceton Mills in charge of the present pastor there, a close friend of Rev. Feather. Burial will be in the Bruceton Mills Cemetery.
