Robert Alonzo Leichliter, 99, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday morning, Jan. 30, 2004, in the Mt. Macrina Manor. Born Dec. 3, 1904, in Connellsville, Pa., he was the son of the late Alonzo and Ella Leichliter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice Young Leichliter and his second wife, Wilma Silbaugh Leichliter. Also preceding him in death were his beloved daughter, Beatrice Roderick, who passed away on Aug. 14, 2003; and his brother, Earl Leichliter and his wife, Dorothy. Robert is survived by his loving sons, Charles Leichliter and wife, Beverly of Rochester, N.Y., and Gerald Leichliter of Uniontown; his son-in-law, Irvan Roderick; four grandchildren, Steven Leichliter, Harry Roderick and wife, Lisa, Robbie Roderick and wife, Brenda and Alma Maceiko and husband, Mark; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Amber, Laura, Robbie Jr., Christian and Daniel; many caring nieces, nephews and neighbors; and his special caregiver, Patti Faust and her family. Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., Uniontown, today from 2 to 6 p.m., and on Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the hour of service, with minister Bryan Young officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
