Opal Ruth MOSER Areford, 93, of Jacksonville, Florida, and a longtime resident of Point Marion, Pa., died Saturday, January 31, 2004, in Jacksonville. Born October 24, 1910, in Point Marion, Pa., she was a daughter of the late William H. and Hattie M. KAIN MOSER. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alonzo Sheridan AREFORD, on Nov. 8, 1969. She is survived by her son, Rodney W. AREFORD, and his wife, Patricia, of Jacksonville, Fla., three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Kathy Griffith officiating.
