John RITZ, Jr., 73, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was born in Uniontown, Pa., and lived in Port St. Lucie for 16 years, moving from Uniontown. Before retirement, he was self-employed in the construction industry as a sub-contractor. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Ritz; and a brother, Bill (William) RITZ, of Uniontown, Pa. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ritz of Port St. Lucie; sons, Chuck Roberts and James Roberts, both of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Dominick Ritz of Uniontown; sisters, Rose Marie Yowler and Dolores Polito, both of Uniontown; and two grandchildren. Visitation was held from 2 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 2, 2004. A vigil service was conducted at 4 p.m., at the YOUNG AND PRILL FUNERAL HOME, Port St. Lucie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
