James "Grassey" MARTRANO, 85, of 232 N. 11th St., Connellsville, died Saturday at Highlands Hospital and Health Center. He was born Dec. 5, 1901, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Michael and Maria Lagrossa Martrano. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Rita's RC Church, Connellsville, and American legion Post 301. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Anthony Martrano, and two sisters, Camela Martrano and Marie Vaccari. (1/31/1987) Not related to me. Just sharing a resource. Carole Clarke
