Hi Becky. Heinrich Weiss was born in the 1740s in the Palatine region. He married Eva FOX on October 9. 1764 in Lancaster Co., PA. Heinrich Weiss was known as Henry WHITE in Bullskin township where he ran a grist mill at the end of the eighteenth century. Adam WHITE, his oldest son, was more than nine years younger than your Peggy ACHE, Adam married Susannah OSBORNE. I've seen no mention of Peggy ACHE in any WHITE documentation and I doubt she is connected with my WHITES. Hugh WHITE, an immigrant from Ireland, was also on the 1790 Fayette county census, If Sarah (Sallie) WHITE was the name her daughter used, it is safe to assume that Peggy ACHE's common law husband was named WHITE. Frank McGrath
Thanks to all who answered my question about the subject cemetery. You gave me the phone number, I called, they were most helpful. I found my answer. This list is the greatest. Thanks again, Joyce :)
Listers; To all who sent a response to my question about Falls City,Many thanks. At times this list might be a little slow in some instances , but that is not so 99.99 % of the time. Best regards. Gene Brierly
Good morning listers, Does anyone have access to the above cemetery's records? I am looking for a death date for Estella/Stella Rae b. abt. 1888. Her husband was John Borland Rae b. 1885 and d. 1951. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Joyce :)
This illegitimate, Peggy White, has confused me for years. Does it fit anywhere in your White ancestry? Debby Margaret Barbara (Peggy) Ache, oldest child of John Ludwig Ache and Anna Margaretha Kraft (Ache), was born in Chester County, PA, April 26, 1756, and died prior to 1807, it is said in Ohio. Peggy was the common-law wife of a Mr. Whitman or White, and by him had a daughter Sarah (Sallie) White, who married "Long" John Moser. Peggy married (1st) Adam Boganreiss (Borroff or Boganwright) and (2nd) a Mr. Parker. Children by first marriage: Elias Boganwright, died prior to 1807 since he is not mentioned in his grandfather's will. Adam Boganreiss and Margarett Boganreiss are named in the will of their grandfather, John Ludwig Ache (written 1807). Peggy is not mentioned in this will; it is assumed she is deceased. (ref: Walters, pg 6) Walters further mentions that Samuel Ache (05 March 1780-10 Feb 1848) (Peggy's brother) & his wife, Hannah Custer (Ache) (09 Aug 1784-09 Feb 1851), who had no children of their own, raised Sallie White, natural daughter of Margaret Barbara Ache who married "Long" John Mosier." I am looking for information regarding a James LUDDEN who married a Sarah ROCKWELL sometime between 1920 and 1930. James and Sarah Ludden are listed as living in the area of Fairbank in Redstone Township in Fayette County. He worked in a coal mine. He was listed as age 52, which put his birth around 1878. James was born in Ohio and both his parents were born in Ireland. Sarah had been previously married to a William H. Rockwell. In 1930, 5 of the (at least) 7 children born to Sarah and William Rockwell were living with James and Sarah Ludden--Everett Rockwell, Mabel Rockwell, Mary Rockwell, daughter Rockwell, and Bert Rockwell. Any information, including a marriage license for James LUDDEN and Sarah Rockwell would be greatly appreciated.

Barb, I just came across the same situation with one of my GG's. Call or write the National Archivies and Records Adminisration, Washington, D.C. The record is called United States Non-Population Census Schedules for Pennsylvania ( or what ever state) 1850-1880. Tell who ever they give you to all of the information thats on the Mortality Schedules Index Record that will help. They will send you a form to fill out and the cost is $17.00. I haven't received my form as yet but probably its the standard what relationship, etc., just like you would have to do when ordering any certificate. A friend of mine was visiting in Maryland and I asked her to call and get the information on how to order for me, she did, thats how I know this is the thing to do. As to what information? I understand there might not be very much or there could be who his or her spouse was, where he died (what town) maybe even parents names. Wish I could tell you more, but until I get the form, mail that and the money, and then wait for it to get here in California I won't know for certain. I will put everything on the List when its complete so anyone that might have the same question will have some help. Sorry I couldn't do more at this time. Alice California
