    3. John You know where it is. I don't know about the name though. I was told it was Quaker Cem. When did Della record Cemetery ? The large Sharpless stone is NOT an original stone. Stones of time period of mid to late 1800s were either sandstone, slate or marble, from what I have been told. The Sharpless stone is granite. 3. Dear Ken, Not only Della did some recording in that cemetery. I think it was Mr. Crawford who also did a recording of it because of his interest in those peeople buried there. I was in there to meet him with friends a couple years ago. They were all related on the Crawford line. His work is in the Uniontown Library & Vicki could guide you to that. Ellen (ETHS)

    3. Tonya I don't know where Dr. Cook Office was, but, If you drive past the Center Independent Oil road, go to top of hill, (about 1/4 mile) cemetery is on LEFT. There is a farm house and barn on other side of road. This is NOT the owner of land where Cemetery is though. To find him go on to intersection, turn left. you will see a house with the foundation painted blue, on left, several houses from intersection. When I was there, Ralph was not there, I talked to his wife. 3. The directions to where Ken said he went is the same cem that I am talking about, there is a oil or gas company at the bottom of the hill before you go up the hill to where the cem is located in a corner of the farm field. Also comming from Smock you would turn right past where Dr Cook office was, he is no longer there, and it is now a private home. this turn is not all that far from Pleasant View cem comming from Royal toward Smock in the valley near where Dr Cook was you would make a left turn comming from Royal or a right turn comming from Smock. Once you get on to this road there is an oil company or gas company in the bottom area then going up the hill in the corner of a cow pasture is this Redstone Cem. 1. [PAFAY] Fairfield Farm
    2. Does anyone know where Fairfield Farm may have been located in Bullskin Township Fayette County in 1790 or how I could find something like that out? It was owned by Edward Doyle and sold to John Shallenberger on January 29, 1791. 3. Joan Only have pictures of stones that I recorded. There are NO other stones there now, unless they are buried. They were probably carried off. 3. To Joan Peake: Let me say first of all, that I'm not acquainted with your family. My question to you though is, exactly what information are you looking for? If your answer is "everything not listed in the obit", then my first act would be to find a good library with the 1920, 1930 census and the 1910 census by using the miracode index. Via microfilm or if the library has a subscription to Ancestry.com. Most larger libraries have both. Find your family, study the census facts about them, and begin to read between the lines for hints of where to look for more hard data. These steps will lead you to names of children, whether her husband remarried, what the mothers first name was, whether they were born here or elsewhere, how long they were married, their address, and who their neighbors were, are they still living in the same neighborhood (both the neighbors, and YOUR family), did they emigrate here, when, where they worked, and many etc's.
