    3. Dorothy M. BRADY Butts, 84, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Friday, January 16, 2004 in Mount Saint Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born February 27, 1919 in Nicholson Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Andrew L. BRADY and Zora Myrtle HILEMAN Brady. She was a Protestant by faith and member of Connellsville Church of God. Dorothy was formerly employed by the Conn Area Catholic School system and then Green Thumb Services. She was very active in the community. She was a member of the Dames-Eureka Grange Ladies Group, Anchor Hocking Retirees Organization and Connellsville Festival Association. She was predeceased by her husband, George C. BUTTS, Sr. in 1958, a sister, Ruth Bane, a brother, Edward BRADY, and parents. She is survived by two sons: George C. BUTTS, Jr. and wife Diane, of Connellsville, Pa., and Brian L. BUTTS and wife, Tokcha ,of Sanford, North Carolina; a daughter, Brenda Childs and husband Robert, of Connellsville; 13 grandchildren: Richard BASINGER and wife, Debbie, Holly Culver and husband, David, Chad BASINGER, Dale BASINGER, Brad BUTTS, Michelle Ward and husband, Michael, Clifford BUTTS and wife, Felicia, Sam BUTTS and wife, Diana, Billy Diamond and wife, Holly, Dina Diamond, Megan BUTTS, Colleen BUTTS, and Renee Hunker and husband, Danny; 12 great-grandchildren: Natasha BASINGER, Dalton BASINGER, Beverly Carp, Katelin Petracca, Kyle Petracca, Seth Hunker, Davis Culver, Charles Culver, Jaida Cameron, Brenna BUTTS, Dylan Ward, and Billy Diamond, III; a sister, Betty Christopher, of Ashtabula, Ohio; and two brothers: Ken BRADY and wife, Garnet, of Alabama and Inghram BRADY and wife, Frances, of Ohio. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 19, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Kay A.     3. Mary Elsie WOUNICK Mikita, 70, of Brownsville, Pa., a former Hairdresser, died peacefully Thursday, January 15, 2004 with her Family by her side. She was born January 12, 1934 in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of Andrew WOUNICK and Mary HORWATH Wounick. Mary was a self-employed Hairdresser. She graduated from California (Pa.) High School and then from the now former Uniontown (Pa.) Beauty Academy. She was a member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church and also Roscoe Ladies Legion Auxiliary, a past Democratic Committee Woman, and past Judge of Elections. Her husband, John MIKITA, Jr., two daughters, Isabel MIKITA and Mary MIKITA, a brother, John WOUNICK, and parents preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed by her Children: John MIKITA, III, Elsie MIKITA, and JoAnn Rhoads and husband, Randy, all, of Brownsville, Pa., Julie Meese and husband, Gary, of Rices Landing, Pa., and Joni Laschen and Denis O'Neil ,of Brownsville; sister, Isabel and Emil Berry, of Rices Landing; aunt, Isabel Hatalsky, of Blainesburg, Pa.; grandchildren: Dakota Mikita, Michael Rhoads and Randy Rhoads, all, of Brownsville, Gary Meese, Jr., of Pittsburgh, Pa., Brandon Laschen and Brent Laschen, both, of Brownsville; niece, Isabel Sukijbumrung, of Tampa, Florida; nephews: August "Jr." Berry, of Jefferson, Pa., and John Wounick, of Richeyville, Pa.; and two special friends: Dorothy Turosick and Flo Johns. Born December 2, 1919 in Lambert, Fayette County, Pa., she was the daughter of Robert LOWRY and Pearl BEATTY Lowry. Mildred was Protestant by faith and a Housewife. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Eileen BARNHART Kloock, son, Charles BARNHART, sisters, Violet Klink and Edith Moody, brother, Curtis LOWRY, and parents. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles BARNHART, whom she married June 13, 1938. Also surviving are three sons and one daughter: Keith BARNHART and wife Patricia, of Smithfield, Pa., Leland Ray BARNHART and wife Valery, of McClellandtown, Pa., Randall Earl BARNHART, of Rayland, Ohio, and Charlotte BARNHART Sellers and husband, Raymond SELLERS, of Zelienople, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one sister, Jean LOWRY McCoy, of Uledi, Pa. She was born May 9, 1919 in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Ewing S. and Elizabeth A. WORKMAN GLOVER. Mrs. Bowser was a member of Markleysburg Church of The Brethren and the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She owned and operated a Hair Salon out of her home for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. BOWSER, in 1997, two brothers, Robert GlLOVER and William Thomas GlLOVER, and parents. She will be sadly missed by many close Friends and Neighbors! Friends were received in the RODNEY S. She was born October 31, 1914 in Poland, daughter of Conrad MACHINSKY and Sadina SIDORSKI Machinsky. Helen was a member of Saint Procopius Roman Catholic Church and these groups within her church: The Procopians, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of The Catholic Daughters of America Court 505 Uniontown, Pa., Saint Anthony's Friary, and the New Salem Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, John W. DEMKO, two brothers, Stanley and John MACHINSKY, and parents preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, John Bernard DEMKO, of Lake Havusa, Arizona; three daughters: Adele DEMKO Bobbish, of Mars, Pa., Patricia DEMKO Herrelko, of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Rita Altman, of Gettysburg, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three sisters: Adele Zawatson, of Uniontown, Pa., Frances Misus and Josephine Drapczek, both, of Williamstown, New Jersey. She retired as Manager of the Uniontown Credit Bureau, had attended classes at both Yale and Princeton University, and graduated from Uniontown Area High School. Marie was preceded in death by sisters, Sophia Scibor and Virginia GALECKI; brothers, John, Stanley, William and Chester, and her parents. Surviving are her husband, Edward A. FRANKS; sisters and brother: Helen Wanchick and husband John, of Livonia, Michigan, Bob Gowesky and wife Julie of Bradenton, Florida, and Frances Kolonsky and husband Frank, of Uniontown, Pa. He was born March 3, 1918 in Marion, North Carolina, son of the late Rev. Harrison and Gertrude GIBSON POTEAT. Rev. Poteat was a Pastor in numerous churches in the Eastern United States, and was Pastor in Markleysburg, Pa., in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Surviving are his wife, Erma REID Poteat; four children: Stephen O. POTEAT, of San Diego, California, Paul E. POTEAT, Jr. and wife Kitty, of Bowie, Maryland, Brenda S. POTEAT, of Easton, Maryland, and Dyan Barone, of Malvern, Pa.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers: Naomi Poole, of Crofton, Maryland, Charles POTEAT, of Raleigh, North Carolina, George H.     3. Ronald H. "Skip" SHOW, Sr., 58, of Uniontown, Pa., died suddenly on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at home. He was born on January 23, 1945 in Duquesne, Pa., son of Howard SHOW and Madeline QUALTERS Show, who preceded him in death. "Skip" graduated from Uniontown High School and was employed with Beer Central Distributors. He proudly served his country in two tours of the Vietnam War with the United States Navy Echo Company 2nd Battalion 26th Regiment 1st Marine Division. During that time he was awarded the Purple Heart, Silver Star, Vietnam Presidential Unit Citation, and National Defense Navy Unit Commendation. For over 20 years he has been a Member, past Officer, and Board Member of The Vietnam Veterans Inc. of Fayette County. He also served as VVI Parade Chairman and Fund Raising Chairman. He was a Life Member of North Union Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a Member of the Planning and Advisory Committee for the Traveling Vietnam Wall Venue on the grounds of the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Deborah L. Brant; sons: Ronald H. SHOW and Scott A. SHOW, both of Smithfield, Pa.; a brother, James D. SHOW and wife Toni, of Mount Washington, Pa.; a special aunt, Dolores "Dee Dee" Mikula, of Farmington, Pa.; many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many friends.     3. Myron Lee "Ham" CONNER, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, January 15, 2004 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born November 11, 1923 in Elyria, Ohio. Mr. Conner was a Veteran of World War II who served honorably in the United States Army. He had been a Welder for several years for the former Fruehauf Corporation in Uniontown, Pa., retired from the Filbert Shop of United States Steel Corporation, and had attended Grace Brethren Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Albert CONNER and Rhea HAMILTON Conner, and a sister, Geraldine J. CONNER. Mr. Conner was the sole surviving member of his family. He will be missed by his many friends, especially his good friend, Jean Lucas. Friends will be received in the JEROME W. He was born March 28, 1920 in Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pa., son of Samuel Clark BOSLEY and Elizabeth DIEHL Bosley. Mr. Bosley was retired from Anchor Hocking's Cap Plant in South Connellsville where he was employed for 25 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II. He was also a member of The Slovak Club, Connellsville. Two brothers, John and Clyde BOSLEY, four sisters, Laura Siesky, Izella Hann, Anna Mae Foster, Ruth Ella Goodwin, and parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy HAY Bosley; two sisters-in-law: Elsie Bosley, of Newtown, Pa., and Ruth Morgan, of West Newton, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.     3. Ray WILKINS, Jr., age 66, passed away in his Wilmington, North Carolina, home on Wednesday, January 14, 2004. He was born in Haydentown, Fayette County, Pa., July 24, 1937 to Ray M. WILKINS and Dorothy HUGH Wilkins. Ray graduated in 1954 from the former Georges Township High School in Fayette County, Pa., and graduated in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Fraternity. He retired in 1991 from Ethyl Corporation in Richmond, Virginia, where he served as Senior Vice President, Board Member, and President of the Chemicals Group. Ray had resided in Wilmington since October 1997. His parents are deceased. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet S. SKAGENBERG Wilkins; Children: Dr. Jeffrey C. WILKINS and wife Andrea, of Murrell Inlet, South Carolina, and Lisa W. She was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Nicholson Township, Pa., a daughter of the late Andrew L. and Zora Myrtle HILEMAN BRADY. She was a Protestant by faith and member of the Connellsville Church of God. She was formerly employed by the Conn Area Catholic School system, and then Green Thumb Services. Dorothy was very active in the community. She was a member of the Dames-Eureka Grange Ladies Group, Anchor Hocking Retirees Orgazniation and Connellsville Festival Association. She is survived by two sons, George C. BUTTS, Jr. and wife, Diane, of Connellsville and Brian L.
