    2. I'm getting the Fayette emails but NOT Allegheny, Washington counties and the NY Irish list. I don't know what's going on with AOL. 1. Re: [PAFAY] status at aol.com and rootsweb.com
    2. Jerome Dittman
    3. The solution to AOL's blocking of rootsweb lists is simple; all rootsweb members, who have AOL accounts, should just cancel their AOL accounts and subscribe to another ISP. It's as simple as that and you won't have to worry about whether you will receive rootsweb lists messages or not. Sooner or later AOL will get the message that rootsweb messages are not SPAM. You may even save money too. Since dropping AOL in August 2002, my current ISP has not let one SPAM message through, and has not blocked one roootsweb list message. 3. It is interesting to me to read about this AOL problem with Rootsweb as I had the same "problem" with my Verizon server. After much discussion over a two week period with Verizon, Verizon was able to provide a solution which as of now works! So, keep after them!!
