    1. [PAFAY] Boyd & Coursin Boat Article
    2. Ellen Ballas
    3. I happened on this item which had been in the Elizabeth Herald Newspaper, July 15, 1887. - not my names - enjoy ....Capt. R. M. Boyd and Benj. Coursin were at Brownsville Wednesday arranging for repairs to the Elizabeth. she will have to be docked to repair injuries sustained on the 4th of July trip. We understand that they also asked for bids for the construction of her proposed successor. ....The docks are now all idle, and will remian so until there comes enough water to let the boats in from below. Then there will be plenty of work for all of them. The last establishment to quit was that of Walton & Co., which ran out of work this week. These docks have made a remarkable record. They have had continous work since February of last year except ten days at about this time last year, caused by low water, as at present. email: ellen@b-n-s.com Visit my web site: http://www.geocities.com/ellenj3

    3. Hi, Since I have cable internet service I've not had the trouble being discussed by AOL users. I have a very good Spam control from this ISP, and all messages are saved for me to look at before they are totally deleted. I get an e-mail when the file is full so I can check it out. Can't believe all the pornography that gets caught in that net-thank goodness. Doris

    2. You have a friend in Fayette Co, Pa. The motto is most fitting. Janet, Grant, Ed, Dawne and all others involved in the AOL blocking. It was most certainly a team effort to get this mess cleared up. Without all of your countlesss hours of dedication most of us would be left in the dark when it comes to finding our ancestors. There is nothing posted to this forum that cannot be used by someone. I read every little tidbit posted. There are many treasures in what is posted. Thanks to all. Glad to see we are up and running again. Sincerely Bernie

    3. I honestly agree that trying to solve a problem is fine - I'd be the first to say I understand but everyday almost every message for the past week has been about this aol blocking or whatever is going on. It isn't fair that you clogg my mailbox with things of no interest to me. Maybe try email each other privately. I understand this being unfair to you also but at some point this needs to go back to genealogy and blocking or the such is in no way genealogy and is off subject I am afraid. I SINCERELY hope you are albe to figure out where the problem lies. 3. Victoria, Yes you are very right the AOL Problem is off the subject. However, I see you are not an AOL user, if you were and unable to receive any of your Rootsweb mail, I would venture to think you would be seeking assistance from your fellow researchers on the various list. In order to have friends, one must be one. No one is breaking the Rules on purpose, just seeking a little help. Please try and be patient while this major issue is being worked out. 1. [PAFAY] Obits - my 2 cents
    2. Kerri Leigh O'Connor
    3. All, I appreciate the obits and all the work that goes into transcribing them. I can quickly identify if they apply to my line, opt to read them more thoroughly as needed. I would not want them to be stopped. There is so much information out there to be transcribed. If all of us would help out a little, our research would be so much easier. I volunteered to transcribe records locally and found it to be very rewarding. 3. Please one of the things people seem to miss is that we are a group of people. Often we have problems and those we can solve together. Honest discussion is needed to find out where the problem originates. In this case it is not an off subject. It is our main transfer route for carrying genealogy mail that has been derailed. People are wondering as to what happened to the mail train. With out it you are left standing at the station. Grant
