    3. Pauline R. ROSKY Krolik, 81, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at her residence in Bedford, Ohio. Born in McClellandtown, Pa., she was the wife of the late Michael J. KROLIK. She is survived by her sons, Jerry, Bob and Bill; daughters, Dolores Pasuit, Judy Jedlicka, Diane Kravetz and Michelle Lozar; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Felix Rosky; and a sister, Stella Jesso. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Beniash and Jean Lipinski. Services were held on Saturday Jan. 31, 2004, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Bedford, Ohio, and burial was at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio. THE ST.     3. John RITZ, Jr., 73, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was born in Uniontown, Pa., and lived in Port St. Lucie for 16 years, moving from Uniontown. Before retirement, he was self-employed in the construction industry as a sub-contractor. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Ritz; and a brother, Bill (William) RITZ, of Uniontown, Pa. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ritz of Port St. Lucie; sons, Chuck Roberts and James Roberts, both of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Dominick Ritz of Uniontown; sisters, Rose Marie Yowler and Dolores Polito, both of Uniontown; and two grandchildren. Visitation was held from 2 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 2, 2004. A vigil service was conducted at 4 p.m., at the YOUNG AND PRILL FUNERAL HOME, Port St. Lucie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.     3. Lawrence Playford PROVENCE, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at his home in Sun City, Calif. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Provence, of Masontown, Pa. Mr. Provence was a 1951 graduate of West Virginia University. From 1943 to April 1946, he was an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Army Air Corps, including his last assignment in Wiesbaden, Germany. Moving to California in 1963, he was employed by Hughes Aircraft until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. A 50-year Mason, he was Past Master of the Norwalk, California Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Hope; two daughters, Kimberly (Mrs. Dave Keys) of Anaheim, Calif., and their sons, Ryan and Kevin and Beverly (Mrs. Skip Allen) of LaMirada, Calif., and their son, Jacob and his two daughters, Kaylynn and Raegan. Mr. Provence's only granddaughter is Shannon Allen. Also surviving are his twin Sister, Doris (Mrs. Charles Speggen) of Masontown, and his older brother, Robert of Matthews, N.C. He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late James and Mary HUDOCK METROS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and John METROS; and an infant sister, Anna METROS. He was a private contractor in the construction business. George is survived by his children, Mary Metros of Ravenna, Ohio, Marge Gutherie and husband, Terry of Garrettsville, Ohio, Bonnie Metros of Kent, Ohio, David Uphold and wife, Kay of Canton, Ohio, James Uphold of Warren, Ohio, and Linda Memmer of Kent, Ohio; several grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters, Pete Metros and wife, Evelyn, Edward Metros and wife, Myrna, Mike Metros and wife, Marie and Helen Hileman, all of Uniontown, Paul Metros of Butler, Pa., and Marge Esposito and husband, Rocco of Coraopolis, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. He was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Fredericktown, a son of Frank J. and Mary MOFLAR KOSTELNIK. Mr. Kostelnik was a member of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish of Fredericktown. He was a 1947 graduate of East Bethlehem High School, and served with the U.S. Marine Corp from 1951 to 1953. For 30 years, Mr. Kostelnik owned and operated the Crowthers Flower Shop in Fredericktown. Surviving are a sister, Betty Yarnevich of Fredericktown; three nephews, Frank Yarnevich of Fredericktown, Pa., David Yarnevich of Ellicott City, Md., and Matthew Yarnevich of Fredericktown; one niece, Marie Donkers of Fredericktown, Pa.; and two great-nephews. Mr. Tiberie was a 1938 graduate of Ellsworth High School and retired from Bethlehem Mines Corporation, Mine No. 51, after 41 years of service. He was a Maintenance Foreman at the time of his retirement. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Evelyn GALIGANNY Tiberie of Ellsworth, Pa.; one son, Victor T. Tiberie Jr., of Coraopolis, Pa.; one sister, Edythe Pysh of Ellsworth, Pa.; and one brother, Daniel Tiberie of Bentleyville, Pa. PHILLIPS SILBAUGH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Kay SILBAUGH; and a nephew, Todd Kooser. Jimmy worked as a mechanic for Garry's Auto Sales. He was also a mechanic for Garry's Auto Sales Racing Team. He was a member of the Hopwood AMVETS. He is survived by a son, Cody Silbaugh and Cody's Mother, April Palmer; three brothers, Jack Silbaugh and his wife, Michelle of Phillips, Terry Silbaugh and his wife, Pam of Uniontown, and Richard Silbaugh of Smithfield; four sisters, Alice Kooser of Oliver, Janet Brewer and her husband, Dale of Uniontown, Patricia Black of Uniontown, and Sandra Silbaugh of Uniontown; a companion, Lisa Dodson and her two sons, Gregory and Craig Dodson of Uniontown; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. AUGUSTINE and Nancy Jane BENSON Augustine. Mary Alice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairchance, the Victory Sunday School Class and The Quilting Society. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. WALTERS, in 1973, brothers, sisters and parents. She was the last surviving member of her parents' immediate family. Surviving are her children: Martha W. Radabaugh and husband Clifford A. Radabaugh of Fairchance, Pa., and Clifford R. Walters and wife Ruth Walters of Connellsville, Pa.; six grandchildren: Kathleen Morris and husband Dennis, Melinda Weltman and husband William, Clifford R. Walters Jr. and wife Lisa, Susan Rankin and fianc? Larry Smalley, Dianne Trapuzzano and husband Theodore, and Carolyn Colvin; and five great grandchildren.     3. Jacob A. RABATIN, age 78, of Uniontown, Pa., died peacefully early Sunday morning, February 1, 2004 in Uniontown Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born September 2, 1925 in Oliver, Fayette County, Pa., son of Jacob J. and Elizabeth VARGO RABATIN. Jacob was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army 977th Engineers Maintenance Company. He was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and V. F. W. Post 47 in Uniontown. He worked at the Foundry for Rockwell International. Jacob loved his Family and his Grandchildren! He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Ichesco, brothers, Joseph Ichesco, George Rabatin, Andrew Rabatin, and parents. Jacob is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Florence M. (Rejzer) Rabatin; four children: Debbie Yonash and husband Dennis, Kerry Romeo and husband Ron, Annette Gates and husband Ed, and Barbi Wanson and husband Eric all of Uniontown, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Sarah Yonash, D. J. He was born Dec. 10, 1920 at Owensdale, a son of the late Walter and Josephine Szymanski Siwula. He was a member of St. Pius X RC Church of Mount Pleasant. He was a retired steelworker, having worked for the U.S. Steel Corp. at the Edgar Thompson Mill at Braddock. A veteran of WWII having served with the U.S. Army, he was a member of American Legion Post 446 of Mount Pleasant. He was also a member of the VFW Of Everson, the Firemen's Club, the Kosciuszko Club, the Hecla Sportsmen's Club, and the United Steelworkers of America Local 1219. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen O'Connor Siwula; two sons; Robert and John, both of Mount Pleasant; a daughter Terry (Mary Ann) McBeth of Scottdale; five grandchildren; three brothers, Vincent of Uniontown, and Theodore and Leo of Scottdale; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Catherine Stempniak of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Agnes Kramer of Scottdale. She graduated in 1920 from North Union High School and prior to her death had lived for many years in the Levittown area. She was the wife of the late William J. Cobert and is survived by a son, Roger W. Cobert of New Hope; a sister, Louise House Rider in California state; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was born Jan. 29, 1916, in Monessen, a son of the late Andrew and Mary Lucas Pinkosky. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Scottdale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in Europe, attaining the rank of T-5. He was a retired flooring grader with Scottdale Wood Products, with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Everson VFW Post. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Pinkosky of Mount Pleasant R. D. 3, with whom he resided, and Larry Pinkosky of Acme, R.D. 1; four grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Pinkosky of California and Paul Pinkosky of Utah. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty L.     3. Fractured Skull Fatal Admitted to the Uniontown Hospital Thursday afternoon suffering a fractured skull Joseph NIGRO, aged 51, of Masontown, died Friday at 12:10. Nigro was hurt in a mine accident at Whyel Mine near Masontown when caught in a slate fall. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Angeline Nigro, and the following children: Mrs. Annie DeFranks of Fairbanks; Mrs. Anna Mae Morabito of Monview; Nick and Alfonso Nigro of Masontown. Funeral services, the time to be announced later, will be conducted Tuesday in All Saints Church, Masontown, by the pastor, Rev. Fr. F. J. Kolb. Burial in a Leckrone Cemetery.
