Hi Rogers, I have a free conversion service that I offer under the auspices of PAF Review (www.paf-review.com) and would be glad to convert your files for you (or for anyone). The preferred approach is for you to attach copies of your .BAK files to an email message sent to convert@paf-review.com. If your files are very large (greater than 5 megabytes) I can provide you an alternative method to transmit them to me. I would return a copy in either PAF 5 (recommended) or PAF 4 format. The details are available at: www.paf-review.com/convert.html Mike St. Clair PAF Review -----Original Message----- From: Rogers Finch [mailto:ka2hsu@earthlink.net] Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2005 1:32 PM To: PAF-5-USERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Data conversion Thanks to those who replied to my inquiry about obtaining a copy of PAF 4. I did what I should have done in the first place and visited the LDS home site on the internet. There I found PAF 4.0.4.18. It downloaded easily but so far does not recognize my five RESTORE floppies. They, of course, after all this time may be corrupted, in which case I am out of luck. On the other hand there may be still be an incompatibility problem. I plan to visit my local LDS Family History Center this week for help on solving this problem. Rogers ______________________________
