    3. Hi I would like some help please, have started to use my paf program and as yet I have not asigned any folder for my files :- Tools - Preferences - Folders: PAF Files: Import/Export: Backup: Reports: Web Pages: I have two files in a folder together one named David Family another David Family.pal that I can find. I need to asign folders and put all the files that should be in each folder so that I can always find and transfer them because I want to be able to transfer the files between desktop computer and a lap top, when required. There are the two files David Family and David Family.pal Are they the only two files where data is stored? not having done any Import/Export. Backup, Reports, Webpages. Regards David.

    3. If you have a lot of stuff and want to keep it organized you can make a new folder anywhere. Mine is in "My Documents". Name it "Genealogy" and make sub folders, Backups, Gedcoms, Multimedia, PAF-5, and Reports. Then, go to PAF-5, Tools, Preferences and tell it where you want to keep your files under the "Folders" Tab.
