As I understand it, they were brother and sister, half or otherwise. I had a similar dillema when the children of my first marriage met the children of my second marriage. At first I said they were half brothers/sisters until one of them, smarter than me, pointed out they had the same blood in them and so are brother and sister etc. I don't beleive that adding 'half' changes anything but will be interested to see the flood of ideas on this one.
