I've just discovered a shortcut that I thought I would pass on. If looking for a particular name (in Individual view), simply hold down the shift key and begin typing the surname of the individual. The names will automatically move up or down as you type. Hope this makes sence. Rollei (from Australia)
FYI... You don't need to hold down the shift key. Just make sure you are sorted by name. If you sort by RIN, you can start typing the number and have the same effect. (I use this when I have a report I'm working from.)
