    3. Definitely download SP2 and all the other security updates from Microsoft. They work fine with PAF. Has SP2 been straightened out so that these interference problems anywhere no longer happen? I have never downloaded it, but I've been advised that I should by a non-genealogical person. 3. I recently downloaded a set of 8 Security updates for Windows XP that included: Cumulative Security Update KB896668 Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool KB890830 and Security Update #s KB900725; KB901017; 902400; 904706; 905414; and 905749. After I downloaded and installed these updates, my desktop computer went completely nuts. Nothing worked right and some things didn't work at all. It messed up PAF5 completely. I had to go to the Accessories, System Tools, System Restore and restore the system to the way it was the day before I installed these updates before the computer worked properly again. I don't know what the problem was, but I have not installed them again. So I'm cautious of these and future updates. Have any of you experienced the same problem and can anyone explain what may have happened with this installation? Any help would be appreciated.
