Even if you have a few dozen, you can use the built-in merge function in PAF. The end result will be the same. Gary Templeman One difference between the PAF merge function and PAF Insight is that when you merge an individual (say a married man) with his duplicate and the duplicate also has a wife, then you end up with only one of the man, but the wife (and the marriage) is duplicated and now you have to merge her name also and get rid of one of the marriages. PAF Insight accomplishes all of these merges as one action. I have found that Insight helps me to avoid messing up my database by trying to fix it. Alan
