Here is the scenario for my question. Female "A" marries male "B" and produce child "C". "A" divorces "B". "A" marries male "D". "D" adopts "C". Do I have "C" listed in both marriages with the "A" & "D" marriage listing her as adopted? Or What? - Karl jenealogy@earthlink.net
Yes, Exactly. I have this exact situation. I adopted my wife's son from her first marriage. I don't want to pretend she was not married before or that he has a biological father somewhere, but I also want him in my family group as one of my children, though adopted. PAF accommodates this very well. -----Original Message----- From: Jenealogy [mailto:jenealogy@earthlink.net] Sent: Saturday, October 22, 2005 1:54 PM To: PAF-5-USERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PAF-5] How To ......
