One of the functions is "Trim Pedigrees." It makes taking whole pedigrees or parts of a pedigree really simple. (_www.ohanasoftware.com_ (http://www.ohanasoftware.com) )
Hi Rick 1. Restore your original file (Preemport) and start over. As some one suggested - create a NEW file from the gedcom and PICK the individuals you WANT to add to your file. I have a ritual I use on gedcom imports that works very well for me. 2. If you didn't backup before importing it is still salvageable. a. Match/Merge individuals b. In Advanced Focus/Filter go to each your most distant ancestors and Select All Descendants Related. (You can go to each ancestor and cumulate descendants.) c. Export the selected individuals as a gedcom and import the gedcom to a new data base Good Luck Ken ----- Original Message ----- From: Bartretrd@aol.com To: PAF-5-USERS-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005 9:40 AM Subject: Re: [PAF-5] Deleting family line from database In a message dated 10/20/2005 7:28:02 A.M.
