And it always starts with the closest relationship (i.e., the 5th cousin, then the 7th). Why there isn't a 2nd relationship seems to be more sociology or biology than genealogy, though. I mean, why *didn't* you marry that guy you met your senior year? The fact that you didn't means you're probably not going to have mutual descendants anytime soon.
