    2. After three years of putting my geneology into PAF5Englishsetup.exe.paf I have just discovered that when following directions to convert to GEDCOM, when I click on the SAVE AS TYPE drop down menu there is no GEDCOM listed. Is this because it was a free download? Marilyn

    3. Hi Marilyn, GEDCOM is not a variation on the Windows SAVE AS function. It is an EXTRACTION process built into PAF. Use the FILE menu and select EXPORT. There you will go through several steps to determine which records you wish to extract into a GEDCOM file. You may chose ALL or a portion of your file. By the way, the PAF5Englishsetup.exe program is the installation program that installs the PAF5 program onto your computer. So you have been actually putting your data into the PAF5 program. That's just a small distinction, but might make things clearer. 3. Scroll down to the bottom option in the export dialogue.
