I need to burn a CD of my PAF 5 data to put in safe deposit box as hurricane protection, OR I might send it to my sister in another State. Ideally I would like it so sister could view it without having PAF on her computer. I have only burned pictures to a CD. Which is the file I chose in Windows Explorer to this? I backup to 3 CD-RWs, but that is in .zip format. I would like to get the "whole thing" on the CD bhk __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Hi B.H. I'm fairly certain you can just copy the paf5 folder from the FamilySearch directory onto the CD-ROM as well as the your .paf database file. Then when your sister wants to view your PAF database, she runs the paf.exe file from the CD-ROM. It will be view only, but it appears that is what you want. If that doesn't work, I know you can run the PAF5 install process onto a flash drive and copy your PAF file as well. That can be used in a similar fashion by running the paf.exe on the flash drive. In this case, it will be read/writeable. Richard At 01:02 PM 6/20/2005 -0700, B.H.
