I'm a technodunce, and I was a bit surprised that I learned the _basics_ of using it without too much travail. There's a built-in tutorial for "Graffiti," which is the alphabet but some letters written a special way. That, too, I learned faster than I expected. You do want to practice at home, of course. I don't use the case that came with it; I wear a belt bag and it fits easily. There's a clever folding keyboard, which I confess I've never used. I recommend buying a "travel charger."
