    1. RE: [PAF-5] What is a Flash Drive/
    2. All; For aver a year I have been using two Flash Memory plug ins on the USB ports on the front of my computer. I have had no trouble. I liked this arrangement so well that I purchased a 200 Gig external hard drive to use as a full system backup. This works well so far (complete backup = 3 1/2 hours and I have not yet figured how to make it backup only the new files). Today the first problem reared its ugly head. A friend came by ready to do check against the IIGI in preparation for submitting for temple work. His USB Flash Memory would not read on either of the two ports on the front of my computer. It did read on one of the ports at the rear. This suggests to me that there may be a problem with the connectors. It was mentioned that there may be a problem with the "cute, curvy" USB flash memory sticks. I have one of those. I cannot plug it into the port when there is anything plugged into the adjacent port. I have a flat USB flash memory stick (Kingston). It does not have the interference problem. Richard L. Halliday (once again having trouble with my e-mail because of Microsoft)
