1922/19xx PAF style of date range with a slash is not accepted by some other genealogy programs and may result in the loss of the event completely in a file transfer. Between date ranges make reports harder to check so I do not use them in any genealogy program. Any information that cannot easily be explained by before, after or about dates is best in the individual note. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donna Hrynkiw" > What's the conventional wisdom for entering date ranges for > consecutive mutually-exclusive events in PAF5? > > I have information that an individual lived at a particular location > from estimated 1922 to a verifiable 1943, but no information where he > went after that.
