My question is how do you get a PAF file on a Microsoft PDA? I cannot answer for a Microsoft PDA, but if they will accept a Palm OS "addin file" (.PRC or .PDB) you can get your PAF file on your PDA (I feel like a government employee). Start PAF with the file you want exported. Go to File>Export>Export for Palm OS handhelds (click on the radio button for this category). Choose "All" or "Partial." If you choose all, a dialog box comes up asking about Ansii characters or something. I just say OK because my file does not contain any strange characters. A .pdb file is placed in my Palm Addin directory (the export program apparently knows where to look for that). You many need to observe where your file is put since you are not using a Palm and then put it into the directory it needs to be to uploaded to your PDA. Once the file is in that directory, the next time you update your PDA your PAF database will automatically be added to your PDA. You do not need PAF on the PDA to read the file, you have just exported a database file just as you would do for a calendar or for the D&C, etc, files that you have in your PDA. So if the Microsoft PDA is like the Palm OS, then the process is really simple. Alan B.
