    2. In a message dated 8/28/2005 2:28:54 P.M. US Mountain Standard Time, thehornguy@bellsouth.net writes: I have imported two different data-base files from another program by GEDCOM, and they have both come through it well. So far as the families in them are concerned, they do over-lap, however, and now, I want to merge or 'meld' them together in my new PAF 5 system. The 'Merge' command appears to work only with one person at a time, but I wanted to do the whole thing in one 'swell foop'!! Is there a way to do it, or am I hoping for too much!!?!?!? Have you looked at the Match-Merge function on PAF Insight? It does not work in one "Fell Swoop," but it does allow you to do matches for your whole file at one sitting and has some advantages over PAF in that you do not duplicate spouses when you do the match. If you are not aware, you can download "PAF Insight" at Ohanasoftware.com for $20 and it has 5 different functions for working with your PAF files (including Match-Merge). Good luck! Alan B.
