I have run into a problem that I've not encountered before in PAF5. I had several pointer errors when checking my database recently. First, I found the 3 individuals, deleted them and their notes; rechecked and had no pointer errors. Then I re-entered them & retyped the note information and the pointer errors reappeared. I dropped back to a previous clean backup which had no errors and restored my database. I checked this and there were no errors noted. This morning I decided to make a gedcom of this restored database. Imported that gedcom into a new database and the report located 6 errors - all bad level number. When I run a check of this new imported database, it says it is error free. What is happening and how can I fix it? Thanks for any help. Ruth in NC
