I'd try something like this m(1) Thomas Hickman + Mary // for Mary citing Named as the event and the Quarter Sessions as the source, enter the details that appear in the session minutes m(2) unknown spouse - enter NOT MARRIED in the date field - see PAF help for further info enter George Smith Hickman bpt 1829 as the child of this union for George citing Named as the event and the Quarter Sessions as the source, enter the details that appear in the session minutes m(3) Joseph Cripps m(4) John Smith enter a named event for John Smith and date of 1829 and source as Quarter Sessions, and details as above etc - if its the same John Smith....
