George, The file attribute has probably been set to Read-Only (maybe by being saved on a CD). To remove the Read-Only attribute, save the file to the hard disk (perhaps to the Desktop or MyDocuments). Click the right-hand mouse button on the file's icon, and from the pop-up menu select Properties. On the General tab, check whether there is a checkmark beside Read-Only. If so, click on it to remove the checkmark, and click OK. The file should now be readable and writeable.
