    3. Hi there, As an adoptive child myself, I can understand your frustration at not being able to sort this out. There is a VERY simple explanation of how to fix this. Highlight the child, then right mouse click, scroll down to "Edit parent links" then click in the field where it says "Relationship to parents" and change this - there are six (6) options to choose from. If you already have the respective biological and adoptive parents listed then click on the one you want as the primary , adoptive or biological, click on "Make Primary" and that will be that FIXED.
