    3. The problem is solved. The edit menu did the trick. I discovered among other things that the individuals were also linked to empty marriages. Unlinking and deleting the empty marriages and clicking "Biological" was all that was needed Cutting and pasting notes is one thing, cutting and pasting all the events is another. Embarrassing, but nice to know that Edit can do more than order children 8^)) Thanks for the help.
