    1. [PAF-5] sending select data as attachment on email
    2. HI All, Just a dumb question from a simple user. How can I select a family group (or two in this case) and send it as an attachment on an email. Not a very learned computer user. Ask one of my grandsons how to do it, "just paste to note pad then import to the email" says he, in his usual high school rush to work. Ha Ha, sounds so simple. Where is cut and paste in PAF? So how do I do it? Thanks for any help. PGee

    3. It depends a lot on how the person you send the information will use it. It isn't that simple. If the information is to be added to the receiver's database you should export a GEDCOM of the 2 families and attach that to an email. If they just want to see the Family Groups, go to Print Reports. Be sure you select "Print to File". With the family group open select Descendants and 2 generations. Preview to be sure it is as you want it to be and then click Print. It will print to an "rtf" file and can be viewed in Wprd or the Word viewer. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: "PAF-5-USERS" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2007 8:27 PM Subject: [PAF-5] sending select data as attachment on email > HI All, Just a dumb question from a simple user.
