When you upload to Rootsweb you can upload everything and choose not to display the living. I keep preaching this!!! :-) You can also create GedCom files and send them to yourself at a Web-based E-mail address that provides a lot of storage. Many of them require maintenance on your part, such as loading/reading your E-mail with various frequencies, but if you pay Hotmail $19.95 a year you get a lot of storage and don't have to schedule anything in case you're away from the computer for a long time.
