In the window that opens, I click on paf5 in the right hand side and in the left hand side I click on the bolocks I want to be included e.g. notes included/not included. At the bottom I select all individuals and click on export. A window opens and closes with a great speed showing that info colected and then a window opens "export file as" - I click on save in desktop, click on new file, and then on export and nothing happens. I find the new file on my desktop but with nothing in it. The database you're trying to export DOES have people in it? [I know, I know, but it's happened] Have you ever exported to GED successfully? If so, when was the last time you were successful? What, if anything, have you changed on your computer since that last time? [WIN updates are killing me] Are you sure you don't have some funky WIN default setting ? In PAF, under tools/settings/preferences -- did you specify a drive? If so, look for the real export in there. What happens if you export to something else instead -- say PAF 3.0M? Is the resultant file _still_ empty? What happens if you Export a small subset of the database -- does it work or not? IME, answering those generally brings the solution to light.
