Yes, thanks, Gary. I am considering trying out Legacy after using PAF ever since Version2 (possibly even Version 1). I have one major concern about Legacy: In PAF 5 there is a feature called Advanced Focus Filter that I find very confusing. In PAF 2, doing a search was VERY SIMPLE. I could type SEVY in the surname field; type KANSAS in the State field, hit some Function Key, and it would give me every SEVY born in Kansas. I could also do more complex searches just as easily. How are such searches done in the Basic Legacy? Are searches in the Advanced Legacy done any differently? I have another question. For those who have had both the Basic and the Full Featured Legacy, what are the three most important features that the full featured program has over the free program. I'm not a cheapskate, but when I looked over the features on the Legacy web site, the advanced features didn't seem all that important to me. I am also generally pleased to see that they will respond quickly to questions. The person at Legacy gave me a good answer, but I'm still interested to hear what "users" think. Although he responded to my questions, his main suggestion was that I download the FREE version and try it out. Sounds reasonable to me.
