I have a very large family tree with many side branches (ie. following various spousal families) and from time to time I find that someone's name is in my file but the path to them from me is so convoluted that it is hard to figure out. So I was wondering if PAF has some way of doing this, or if not, then is there some other genealogy software that can? I'm not talking about the relationship calculator exactly, because in most cases PAF wouldn't consider there to BE a relationship -- at least not one of direct descent. I just want to know how to get there from here. :) Sandy
