Is it advisable to make a separate file when working on my husband's family? I have one PAF, starting with me and going back on both parent's sides. Now I want to do the same thing with my husband in place "one". Separate PAFs the best way to go? Mary
Mary; The answer is "Maybe". If he is not doing research, then I generally recommend one file. If he is doing research then I recommend two files. Include both husband and wife in both files, but include the children in only one file as this makes it much easier to keep track of the entry of children's events (birth, baptism, marriage, grandchildren, etc.) Richard L.
