Gary, IT WORKED!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I created a new database: my mother's name (Experimental) and imported her entire one into the experimenal one. Then I did a Merge Duplicate Sources and Citations. My # of sources went from 1,550 down to 102. I spot checked a number of sources for burial places, knowing that they would vary a lot, and found that the Source Titles were correct and Citation Detail entries were all different and correct. Thanks you again. I made one additional discovery. The same source/citation detail entries are repeated several times on each person. The # of times seems to be related to the # of times that person was match/merged. It's going to take quite a while to go through the entire file to delete the duplicates, but I can deal with that now that I know the data is all correct. This whole list membership is very helpful to all of us. Thanks to all of you who responded.
