If you're learning things that aren't exciting (a new phone number, the newest detour on West 17th, a new health regime) it's hard to work up enthusiasm. And, if being excited about learning separates youth and age, it's the wrong division -- IME, the older you get the more excited you are to be able to learn something. (g) A 7-year-old isn't at all excited to have mastered the new DVD player; the 70-year-old is walking on air about it. ;) Cheryl
