I have been thinking that it has been a problem with the notes that I've been having problems with, but today when I ran a check file, and then check/repair, I noticed what it's doing. After it starts running, as soon as it says it is checking notes, I get 1 error - which I assume means an error in something I've done since I last backed the program up. BUT, if I run a check/repair, the error shows up as this. (This is the third time in two weeks that I've gotten this error). Checking Individual Names: 39939 records. Record pointer 55308226 is not the first free. So, why does it show up as an error when running check in notes, but when running check/repair, does it come up under individual names. When you run check/repair, it will tell you that it is fixed, but if you run check again right after, you get another record pointer error. I keep wondering if I have too many notes or too many people - I have 37,300 people in my database. Thanks. Kathy
