    3. Cheryl, Try this, it will take 5 or 10 minutes, but I think you will be pleased with the results: File menu > Print Reports > Custom > Select (with yourself highlighted) All > Select > All Related > Deselect > OK > OK (back on the Reports and Charts screen) Fields > Surname, given ">" RIN ">" Birth Date ">" Birth Place ">" OK (or whatever fields you want to include) checkmark Print to File Print Give the file a name and location, and click Save. NOTE: If you use "Print to Comma Delimited File" instead of "Print", you can open the output file in Excel and sort it on any column. But try the simpler version first. -- Bill website: http://billbuchanan.byethost17.com blog: http://billbuchanan.blogspot.com On Wed, Dec 1, 2010 at 8:47 AM, singhals <singhals@erols.com> wrote: > What I'm after, as 2nd or 3rd choice from what I /really/ > want, is a list of all those who are NOT attached to the > main tree. 3. Aloha Bill, I have been following this thread and have done what your suggestion was Bill, but I just want to be clear on what I have. This produces a report that will list all the people in my data base that are NOT related to me or linked in some way to "my" family chart. Is this correct? I do not know if you helped Cheryl but this might have helped me, ha... Let me know if I understand what it is I have, ha.. I'll now go back and print it again with more fields into a csv and see if that gets me where I think I want to go ... Thanks, again, Bill! Cheryl
