    3. You ask about problems with Windows 7, not being compatible with older programs, ie. PAF5. To make Windows 7 or Vista, run with older programs you need to enable the Compatible Wizard feature. 1) Click on: Start 2) Click on: Help and Support 3) Type in: Compatibility Wizard and select 4) Click on: installing programs: frequently asked questions 5) Click on: can I install a program made for an earlier version of Windows? 6) Click on: Make older programs run in this version of Windows 7) Click on: Click to open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter. Follow the instructions and you will need to tell it to be compatible with Windows XP or other. This must be done for each separate program that you are having problems with. If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask me, because I have found it solves my problems, except ONE involving the Laptop features. I have Windows 7 on a LapTop that is equipped with a tapping device located to the front of the keys, in place of the external mouse. Whenever I input some data my hand continually touches this tapping device causing errors in the data, so I have to turn this device off and use an external mouse. Which is fine until I turn off my computer and Windows 7 automatically turns on the tapping device when I open up. It is terrible to get old.
