    3. Thank you Bill and Esther. I have checked Properties on both PAF5 and AQ. Neither one has Read Only checked. But strangely each one has a dotted line box around those words.   When I try to use my flash drive backup I receive this message: aqz is not a database compatible with this version of AQ. The same message is received if I try a PAF5 backup, except it says PAF instead of AQ.   My present version is AQ12.1 Build 28.     LaVerne
