If you check the archives and there is only one copy there the problem is on your receiving end This is usually down to your ISP or set up and is more often than not the download being interrupted before its finished so it downloads a second time , it happens more with dial up than broadband These duplications happen from time to time and usually stop as suddenly as they start Of late there has been a problem with SORBs the spam filters Rootsweb uses, they are rejecting an awful lot of posts, yesterday I had to send seven times before it got through, not sure if thats a factor here Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Nivard asks "Any ideas why they or you don't use AQ all the time" > > I have used PAF for many years and am comfortable with it. Hi Nivard, I've been lurking, and watching this thread to see what came of it. I use PAF, or at least I did until I got into a testing of PAFWIZ which I now use all the time. No change to databases, they open in PAF or PAFWIZ equally. There are a few twiddly bits in PAFWIZ which are not in PAF which works for me. Unfortunately, PAFWIZ is no longer supported, but like PAF is no longer supported, I will keep using it. I do have the free copy of AQ, but rarely use it. I also use Brother's Keeper, but only for printing a drop line chart as it sets the information out the way I want to see it. Again, it is only the free version. Anyway, that's my 2 pennorth.
