Hi Nivard Have tried all different ways and nothing happens Thanks Maureen -----Original Message----- From: paf-5-users-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:paf-5-users-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Nivard Ovington Sent: Sunday, April 10, 2011 6:33 PM To: paf-5-users@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PAF-5] Gedcom File 5th 4th ! no wonder the lists are quiet Clearly not, 3rd attempt :-( 2nd attempt, I thought SORBs had been sorted out :-( Hi Maureen Are you perhaps refining your search to a point where there are no inclusions to your report? What happens when you just create a normal gedcom? You can always test that and delete afterwards If that works try successive reports with different criteria to see if you replicate the zero report Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) >I am having great difficulty creating a gedcom file for some unknown reason > or I am missing something in the process. > > These are the steps I have taken:- > > File - Export - Partial - Select. 2. After the select and going back to the export screen, what is the number of individuals listed for the export? If there is no one selected, then you would not get a file. Same suggestion as already suggested, but with a check to be sure. You might also try a full export as a trial also.
